Get ready to be terrified! The demo for Reanimal is NOW available on Switch 2, and if you're a fan of heart-pounding horror, you absolutely won't want to miss it.
Just a month before the full game's launch on February 15th, 2026, publisher THQ Nordic has dropped a free demo on the Switch 2 eShop (at least in Europe; US availability is still pending). This gives you a sneak peek at the co-op horror experience Reanimal promises to deliver.
But here's a reassuring detail for solo players: Tarsier Studios has confirmed that you can still enjoy the game even if you don't have a co-op partner.
Reanimal is considered a spiritual successor to Little Nightmares, a game that Tarsier Studios previously worked on. The development then shifted to Supermassive Games for the third entry. This new title looks to be even more disturbing, following two siblings as they try to escape a nightmarish world filled with grotesque creatures.
The demo, like the full game, will offer both Quality and Performance modes, letting you adjust the visuals and frame rate to your liking. This allows for a personalized gaming experience.
