The inaugural episode of Side by Side features Gary Clarke, a former prison officer turned mental health advocate, and Allan Hughes, co-production lead at CPSL Mind. Together, they’re tackling a topic often shrouded in silence: fathers’ mental health. But here’s where it gets controversial—why do men still feel pressured to hide their struggles? Clarke, now a Perinatal Project Dads Worker at CPSL Mind, supports fathers across Cambridgeshire, including through initiatives like Andy’s Man Club in Peterborough.
